Hideout for Wanted Men

Corvo Island seems to be a hideout for wanted men, concealed in one of the most remote corners of the Earth where a minimum of modern comforts can still be found: the Swedish man who prefers chess, the fitness guru Abelardo, and who knows who else. It brought to mind a song by The Last Internationale, a New York band that recorded one of its albums at Ard Recorders in Porto.

Their songs usually revolve around political and environmental themes and perhaps that is where the reference to an “International” originates. But Wanted Man draws instead upon the traditions of the American Western.
